About the practice

Dr. Shapley is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana and moved to New Jersey as a child. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Montclair State University. Dr. Shapley graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in 2010. He returned to NJ after graduation and worked in small animal medicine for a few years prior to pursuing his passion for Integrative Medicine.

He earned his Veterinary Acupuncture, Veterinary Chinese Herbal and Food Therapy certifications from Chi University. Dr. Shapley’s interests include the integration of Eastern and Western Modalities for the treatment of a wide range of maladies for his patients.

In his spare time Dr. Shapley enjoys hiking and spending time with his Shar Peis, Carrie and Doug. He is a lifelong Martial Artist and continues to train in Kung Fu, Qi Gong, Tai Chi and PaKua.
